Midsummer's Opportunity to Reap the Harvest of Love

So it's that time of the year already, its hard to believe. Sunday June 21st is Summer Solstice and marks the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

Summer Solstice (or Midsummer) represents the end of spring and beginning of summer.

This is the time of year to celebrate the coming prosperity of the harvest and the good fortune of the warm summer months. But what are YOU harvesting?

The seeds of love you've been planting and acting upon in the first part of the year have begun to create a new life. It is this time of year that you must tend to the crops of your new life and make sure they are protected through the rest of the year. Many times crops can be infested or malnourished by now, which is why in many ancient traditions Summer Solstice was a time of prayer that the fall harvest would bring a bountiful return.

And just like the farmers protecting their yield, now is a time of year for you to check in and see how the new seeds of love and desire you planted are manifesting. This is the time of year when many old habits are broken and circumstances are brought to a head. It' time to rid the crops of your new goals and desires from any fearful thought parasites to insure a bountiful harvest. Just as the Sun will shine it's brightest during Summer Solstice, the light of your awareness can intensely illuminate the unconscious dark parts of your beliefs that are holding you back from your Highest Potential.

The new life of 2009 that you've chosen is now showing you all the blocks that are in the way of manifesting the life you truly want which is why so many things are being brought to a head. There must be a purification of the old before the new can truly enter.

While the recession is a global reality, the belief that lack true for you and that you are powerless to do anything about it is just another illusion. The truth is that you are surrounded by an abundant Uni-verse and have been given intuition and free will. And in between what you know you can achieve and actually making it happen is fear.

Take one more step today towards love. Take one more step today towards the destiny you want to create. And don't be afraid to let go of the habits and relationships that don't serve your greatest good or Highest Potential anymore. Spring cleaning is done... Ask yourself, what do you want to harvest in the fall? A bountiful crop planted in the soil of your love and self-esteem in action, or an infested crop that's withered away by the parasite of fear?

The Face of Love

Love's confusion
Is a bittersweet ride
A path that leads to
The unknown’s surprise
I've given up
Trying to figure out why
And surrendered to the fact
That I'm just along for the ride

Cuz there's no way to know
What love has in store
There's no way of guessing
What's behind loves closed door

The only thing
That can be known
Is that the path of love
Will lead you to everything
That you're supposed to be shown

So I let go
And let love guide the way
And laugh at thinking
That I could of
Ever controlled love anyway

Love has many faces
That will smile and frown
Each one of them is a messenger
To a truth once lost
That now you have found

So don't fret and don't worry
Cuz you'll never be left alone
Follow loves urges and
You'll surely find that
Place called home

Where you give and allow in
All of loves blessings
Cuz you finally believe
That all the love that you give
Ten fold you will receive

The face of love may change
But the soul of love stays true
Have faith in what's showing up
And remember everything you seek
Is really inside you
